PPC Marketing

You ever had that question on how and why does Google the Multi-Billion dollar company buy YouTube for 1.6 Billion dollars and another 10 MILLION on producing Hybrid-Cars? Also How did Google become a Multi-Million Dollar Industry in the first place?

It’s all called PPC Marketing you can read about it here.

PPC stands for Pay Per Click. Like the Pay Per View on your television where you have to pay for every view. The advertiser has to pay for every click on their ads whether it’s Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Ask, Search7, Miva, FindWhat, Findology, Kanoodle or any other search engine they have to pay.

Smaller/Newer search engines such as Search7 are cheaper to use. You may pay 1 cent per click where on Google it may be $1. Where Search7 will get you 100 visitors for the price of 1 visitor from google. People advertise on google to either promote their website or promote a product where they get a commission from.

Let’s take a look at Rocket Spanish. They will pay you 75% of every sale which is $75. If 1 in every 100 visitors convert a sale on Google for keyword Learn Spanish 75cents is the break even point on any search engine.

How Did I Get This?

1    From each product sold $75  / 100 (1 in 100 visitors earn a sale)=$0.75.

So 75 cents is the maximum you spend on the KeyWord Learn Spanish.

eBay Continues PPC

Advertising

eBay thought they didn’t need the PPC Marketing as they were trying other means of generating visitors to their site. Because of this move with Google, eBay’s profits began to drop, so eBay Continues PPC Advertising with Google.

What is PPC advertising? PPC stands for Pay Per Click. Like Pay Per View on the TV this is similar in sense that the advertiser Pays Per every Click on their ads. They put their ads on Google, Yahoo, MSN, Findology, ASK, Miva, Search7, Kanoodle, FindWhat and other Search Engines to get traffic to where their sending it to.

Because Google is the biggest and most popular the CPC (Cost Per Click) will be higher than the other search engines. eBay decided to try pull out of google and try the other ones which would be cheaper and see if it increased the profits.

The profits didn’t increase they dropped so eBay went back to google.
